Our Nursing Team are invaluable members of the Practice Team, and many of you will be seen and looked after by them on a regular basis. Here’s a guide to what they can do for your care.
We have three highly experienced and skilled nurses working across both surgeries. Our nurses work as a team and are responsible for providing care for patients with conditions such as diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure and cardiovascular disease. If you have one of these conditions you will be called to see the nurse to check how things are going.
They also deal with well woman services, for example smear tests. They can also perform all the different procedures that our healthcare assistants can too.
